As I grew up in late 80s and 90s, there were many Eastern bloc cars on the streets when I was young. I really love to draw them, especially the Czech ones. Nevertheless, the cars from other countries were interesting for me as well and I returned to draw them after a while. This time, painting of an old Trabant 601 vehicle was my goal. The painting is set to the Neumarkt town square in the Dresden city in Eastern Germany.
The image is in a form of digital oil painting. It was drawn in Adobe Fresco software using the Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch tablet. The drawing process took approx. 4-5 hours of work. Now, if you wish, you can buy a fine art print or any available product (towels, mugs, bags, and others) at Fine Art America. You can also click on the image below.
You can also look at the drawing process in a form of a time-lapse video which was available thanks to Adobe Fresco software.
